Please read
the instructions below before downloading and using the
SSABSA-VET assessment plan templates.
To assist teachers in the production of
assessment plans for SSABSA-VET subjects, templates have been developed
in Microsoft Word using an embedded Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet calculates the number of nominal hours within each
SSABSA-VET subject.
| Note: These units of competency are approved by SSABSA
annually, and are subject to change. For more information, consult
the current SSABSA-VET curriculum statement. |
To download and open the Word templates carefully follow the instructions
below:

From the template table below, click
the Word icon for the required assessment plan template. Depending
on your browser, the template will begin to download or you will
be asked to save it to disk. |

Save the document into an appropriate
location on your computer or school network. You can now start
work on your plan electronically. |
| Begin
completing the template: |

Open the document by double clicking
on it. |

Double click on the embedded spreadsheet
area located under the area to enter the Registered Training Organisation
(RTO). Excel will ask whether you want to open the document that
contains macros. |

Select the unit code from the first drop down list.
The unit of competency and nominal hours will be filled on once a
unit code is selected. |

From the next row select another unit code repeat
until you have selected enough unit of competencies to accumulate
the required number of hours for the VET subject. |

You can now complete the rest of the assessment
plan in the usual way and forward to SSABSA for approval. |
