Suggestions - Our Actions
The Senior Secondary Assessment Board
of South Australia is committed to continuous improvement.
The international-standard quality of its operations
is certified under the ISO 9000 program by Société Générale
de Surveillance.

Since the South Australian Certificate
of Education began in 1992, SSABSA has applied quality
assurance to the SACE, to ensure its currency, relevance
and value to senior secondary students.
Now, online communication offers
wider and faster channels for receiving and responding
to feedback. This web page is a forum and 'open line'
for any member of our community to make an Improvement
Opportunity Report (IOR) to our SACE quality assurance
program.

and other information on specific issues relating to
SACE improvement. |
Surveys and Consultation
The South Australian Government
is undertaking a review of the senior secondary years,
the most significant in a decade. The intended outcome
is more relevant and contemporary education, improved
student retention, completion and success. Further information
can be found at www.futuresace.sa.gov.au
Community Attitudes
and Perceptions of SSABSA and SACE, a survey
of 4,000 South Australian households, was conducted
in mid-2003. The Board is developing strategic responses
to the issues raised through consultation. An executive
summary [pdf] of the findings is now available. |
Continuous Communication
All suggestions for an even better
SACE will be considered under our ISO 9000 quality
assurance reporting system.
