
You receive a Record of Achievement if you have gained recorded achievement or better (a Subject Achievement Score of 3 or more) for at least one Stage 2 subject.
The Record of Achievement shows the following results:
- Stage 1 subjects for which you have received satisfactory achievement or recorded achievement, or vocational education and training (VET) or community learning units for which you have been granted status.
- Stage 2 subjects for which you have received a Subject Achievement Score of 3 or more (on the 20-point scale).
Your Stage 1 results show:
- satisfactory achievement if you have reached the level specified as satisfactory for the subject; or
- recorded achievement if you have undertaken some of the work specified for the subject.
Your Stage 2 results are shown on the scale below:

Requirements not met |
You gain satisfactory achievement for any subject with a Subject Achievement Score of 10 or more out of 20 or recorded achievement for any subject with a Subject Achievement Score of between 3 and 9 out of 20.
Recognition of community learning
Some completed awards, such as those issued by the Royal Life Saving Society Australia and Scouts Australia, and personal learning programs can contribute to SACE completion.
