The SSABSA Merit Ceremony is held for students who attain an Outstanding Achievement in any Stage 2 subject. The Ceremony is held in the grounds of Government House where students are presented with merit certificates and formally recognised for their achievements.

The Ceremony has been held annually since 1989 and is an important event in our education calendar. The garden-party style event is also attended by special guests, including South Australians distinguished in their fields, who present students with their certificates.

The SSABSA Merit Ceremony aims to encourage and recognise excellence in student achievement and is always a rewarding day for our graduates.
