completing your SACE

by Dr Paul Kilvert Chief Executive, SACE Board of South Australia

For the next few weeks, thousands of students aiming to finish their SACE this year will be completing final assessment tasks and revising for exams. This guide deals with managing last-minute preparations and coping with the inevitable pressures.

I trust the information and advice will be helpful, not just for Year 12 students but for their friends and families, whose support will be so valuable in the days to come.

The South Australian Certificate of Education is awarded to those who meet targets assessed in school as well as through external examinations and written and practical assignments, and increasingly also through structured, measurable 'real-world' experience in the community and the workplace. This variety of learning options results in a widely-respected qualification that can gain entry to universities the world over, or equip the holder for the workplace and relevant practical training.

Good luck with your SACE and your future!
