Art Practical
A subject that requires the student to work creatively in developing ideas and concepts and to express them in a visual way. Through practical work and theory study, students develop skills of inquiry, problem-solving, and evaluation. A practical extension program allows them to explore particular skills, techniques, media, styles, or cultural themes.

Visual Arts Studies
A subject that develops students’ understanding of human cultural aspirations and achievements in the visual arts, craft, or creative design. The course requires a commitment to two sections: visual arts practice - the expression of creative ideas through practical work, and the development of analytical skills through study of historical and contemporary examples. An independent inquiry dealing with aspects of the visual arts, craft, or design culminates in an individual presentation.
